SAAM’S DEBUT EP IS HER DIARY IN THE FORM OF SPOKEN WORD

Saam a Canadian spoken word artist is venturing into a new space with her debut project entitled Psycheval. The ep consists of 5 tracks and calls it the diary of her thoughts. While the content can be viscerally heavy after several listens it is an astute and well balanced project. She vocally lays her inflexions over melodies and beats while nodding to her Jamaican roots and naturally rhythmic speech that patwa tends to provide. The Ep in her words is:  

“… very real and raw and the sound infuses indie R&B and trap rock with smooth vocals and pure lyricism.”
