Now that the most anticipated dinner party of November is over, chances are somewhere in the kitchen there is a whole lot of left over ingredients that didn’t make it into the final product on Thanksgiving. That pumpkin pie filling can doesn’t need to stay in the pantry for next year. Show off your resourcefulness-make this Pumpkin Beer, tasty enough to wash down all those leftovers. All your basic friends will thank you.
What you need:
1 tsp of Pumpkin Pie Filling
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Star of Anise
4 Allspice Berries
1 Vanilla Bean
1 Tea Infuser
2 Tbsps. Sugar
1 Tbsps. Ground Cinnamon
Now, Do This:
1. Get all the spices into the tea infuser. Burn over the stove for less than a minute.
2. Put the pumpkin pie filling in the base of a tall beer glass. Add the tea infuser.
3. Fill the glass with beer, covering the tea infuser, sprinkle additional ground cinnamon.
