Travis Little floored us with his recent EP Gate Keeper and he is continuing that standard with his amazing new visual for his single Brown Skin. The song is coupled with his the soulful rasp that Travis delicately flaunts over the classic harmony. As fall is steadily approaching the video makes us yearn for cool lemonades on a hot summer day on a Brooklyn rooftop watching the summer set over the New York skyline. [Poetic I know]

His adoration to the foray of skin tones women of color can come in is a refreshing. In a society wrapped in controversy, opinion and ever challenging racial times a song like Brown Skin is almost necessary. While we fell in love with the song on its own the video only laments that feeling. This is home grown video played out on subway platforms and on moving trains is sprinkled with beauties of all skin tones. This is more of what the culture needs
