This season, Pier 94 housed Cabana, Capsule and Liberty Fairs. With three shows under one roof, Liberty Fairs Women opened its doors in New York City for the first time. Between getting greeted by mimoas, making candles with Manready Mercantile manicures by Glamsquad and a Masterclass screening by Mastered, it was difficult to pick where to start first. Walking through Cabana felt like an early access to spring and summer despite the gloomy weather outside at the time. 

With Venus Williams premiering her latest collection for ELEVEN, she explained how her collection is about being your best. Not only is her collection fashion driven, but also focuses on improvement. She went on to describe how fitness not only changes lives but also creates longevity, happiness and ultimately, a lifestyle. From waterproof gear from Rains to handmade hats by Covry Sunwear, it's evident the brands at Pier 94 are willing to push the envelope.

And the Vote Forward 2017 Winner is...

SEAN WOTHERSPOON

Nike invited different creatives from all over the world to have a once in a lifetime chance to design a Nike Air model. These creatives, dubbed as the “Revolutionairs” would have their Nike Air model released if crowned as the winner. 

For this year’s Air Max Day, Sean Wotherspoon was announced as the Vote Forward 2017 Winner. We had a chance to catch up with him during the RevolutionAir Event (NYC) and asked one simple question: 

What was the inspiration for the design? 
"I wanted corduroy and some of my favorite colors put together. I really wanted a cool looking shoe that could be worn everyday." 

So here’s to Sean Wotherspoon and his unique design of the Air Max 97 x Air Max 1 hybrid.

NIKE X KITH RE-LAUNCH A MIAMI EXCLUSIVE: THE AF1 LINEN

Nike and Kith has brought back the Nike Air Force 1 Linen. The iconic model was originally released as an exclusive in Japan in 2001. Since then, the sneaker has yet to be released... until now. 

The sneaker relaunch will only be available in-store at the all new Kith Miami. Kith Miami opens this Friday, December 2nd. 

If you’re in Miami for Art Basel, you don’t want to miss this historic launch. 

Stone Island's New Ice Jacket Changes Color Based on Temperature

Public School x New Era x Nas

Public School brings on Nasir Jones to model its latest New Era collaborative headwear collection. 

“When you think of New York leaders, especially in the context of a Yankees or Mets hat, there’s no other person that comes to mind before Nas. Growing up in the city in the early and mid-90′s, around the time when Illmatic dropped, was like a sociology lesson. Nas was both painstakingly real and beautifully poetic at the same time. He was able to sum up our entire city/universe in 10 songs. And so there was only ever one person that could fully do justice to this campaign and our ode to NYC” said designer Dao-Yi Chow.

The limited edition collection launched on September 29, 2016 at the Public School x New Era pop up shop in NYC. Online release is set to follow. The two hats are offered in the original Fit 9Fifty snapback silhouette and two are adjustable 9Twenty dad caps. Caps are retailed at $75. 

The campaign was shot by Bon Duke and was inspired by old photos of Nas taken in 1992 by Chi Modu. Check out the Queens Native, hip hop icon's Public School x New Era campaign below.

KENZO X H&M CAMPAIGN FEATURES CHANCE THE RAPPER, IMAN & MORE

Here’s the first look at the Kenzo x H&M campaign shot by Jean-Paul Goude.

The campaign will highlight seven globally known personalities who are in the worlds of fashion, music, art, and activism. The first 3 which features Change the Rapper, Iman and Suboi are also released with short films shot by Max Vitali. All 3 are wearing Kenzo’s iconic zebra and leopard prints. Stay tuned for the rest of the campaign which features other celebrities like Rosario Dawson.

Release date for the full collection in stores is November 3. We can expect some crazy videos to go viral with this release (flashback to the Balmain collaboration). People will go crazy for some Fashion.
