The Welcoming at Plainfield's Art District

Yendor Productions took over Plainfield and presented The Welcoming, bringing different types of artists to this pop up art gallery and exhibition. The exhibition featured work from painters, mixed media artists and photographers among others. The Welcoming took place on April 21, 2017 and will run until May 19th. The pop up is open Thursdays and Fridays 6-9P and Saturdays from 12-4P. Vendor Arts is helping to bridge the gap with underserved artists and communities. The opening reception was very inviting in terms of energy. The walls were covered with artwork and the space with people either breaking down the pieces in their head or conversing with the artists.

Yendor teamed up with The City of Plainfield and Landmark Developers to rejuvenate the  North Avenue Historic Arts District. See what you missed below.
