Still Hypnotizing 17 Years Later

I still remember the day I found out Biggie got shot.  I was listening to Hypnotize and the radio host announced his death.

Fast-forward 17 years and there’s an exhibition being held for the anniversary of his death at House of Art Gallery.  The words to his music were mixed with artwork that exemplified what was going on in the 90s.  The artists included the talented Justin Bua, Frank Morrison, Charly Palmer, Jamel Shabazz and Dan Ericson.  Each of their pieces brought back a different memory of growing up in the 90s.  This tribute to Biggie and his music was well put together.

The curators were owner of H.O.A Gallery Richard Beavers and Dawud Knuckles
