The Life Lab a creative haven in Newark, NJ has a growing collection of supporters and young talented folk coming together. The warehouse styled establishment with mural filled walls and wooden floors riddled with paint and extension cords was vibrant on a rainy cold night for the "Been Dead" event.
Life Lab owner Gu had the venue buzzing for the Been Dead event with performances from Ohwon, Rosegold and featured performer Cash, a guitar totting lyricist ( that we are quite geeked about I must say). Drinks on deck, tunes by NJ native Jamar Jacobs and free tattoos all night, Yes this is LIFE LAB. The talk of Newark and its community of young creatives and forever elevating the movement is a vibe that we couldn't get enough of. Constituents like Avenir skateboarding, Dr Dabber a vape brand to be reckoned with along side Bunzalino, a budding event and music purveyor and NJ based street wear brand Faded Royalty were also some of the supporters for the nights event. Continually more and more young entrepreneurs (including us) are partnering up and pushing Gu's haven of great minds and skilled artists.
This is a space that people can see rare performances and happenings from the up and coming to the most affluent in an intimate way. There's a lot in store for Life Lab and it's future events, STAY TUNED!
